Beach Themed Easter Baskets Filled With a Lot of Love

by Sajmet Williams
(Mobile,Alabama,USA)

I have two children: a girl an a boy. These fun beach themed Easter baskets are from last year and they were filled with a lot of love!

For my little girl I did a beach themed Easter basket filled with all kind of little girlie things, such as:

Swimsuit
Kite
Candy
Sandals
False Nails

I think it would make a cute Easter basket idea for an older girl. You could also add sunscreen, coconut body spray, a beach towel, Sun-in hair lightener, sun tattoos and other fun beauty products.

Another idea like this for a teenage girl's beach themed Easter basket, I bought a clear shell salad bowl and put colorful grass with:

A bathing suit and other beach items
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Plastic Easter eggs filled with hair accessories
Chap stick
Thongs (flip-flops, that is)

...and of course I added some treats. Tied the beach basket up with clear cellophane and a beautiful bow.

Still sticking with the beach theme, instead of a traditional Easter basket, my son got a big Tonka truck for Easter (perfect for playing in the sand!) that was filled with:

Swim trunks
Kite
Motorcycles
Race cars
Candy
Other boyish things

I can't imagine a younger boy out there who wouldn't go nuts for an Easter basket like this. Of course, you've got to add some treats, too. Easter's not Easter without some candy!

Each year my twins get a decorated basket w/hair accessories. Usually they're put in the plastic eggs that they get from school. Add a few pieces of candy and fake grass and it's a pleaser every year!
