Choosing Wine for a Dinner Party or Holiday:
It's Easier than you Think!

Going to a dinner party or hosting one yourself? Choosing wine that both goes well with the meal and pleases everybody at the table can be a pain in the butt. Especially if you don't know a ton about wine. Sure, you know you like it. And you probably know a few grapes that you tend to enjoy. But if that's the limit of your wine knowledge, you may feel a bit insecure about bringing the best wine for a dinner party or buying the best bottles for your guests.

(In fact, most rocket scientists are terrible at picking out wine!) All you need is an overview of types of wines, wine grapes, and what things generally go well together. All of which you can, amazingly enough, find on this page.

Not American? Throw a barbecue anyway, using good ol' American ingredients. You know, just for the fun of it.
