Cooking Frozen Fried Turkey Breast
by: Karen (DDP Editor)

Hmm. I've never heard of a frozen fried turkey breast. I imagine that freezing and then thawing a fried turkey breast will result in a loss of crunch and texture. But I guess it'll still be juicy and delicious, and that's what you want!

Though I've never cooked a frozen fried turkey breast, I still think I can help. As with most meats, you'll get the best results if you thaw your cooked breast completely before heating. If you pop it in the oven frozen, the outside will dry out and overcook before the inside is warmed. Not the best result.

My suggestion (though take it with a grain of salt since I've never cooked one) would be to heat it almost through in a 325 degree oven. Then finish it off in a 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes to re-crisp the skin.

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out!
