Hello, I have a question that I hope you can answer. Everybody in my family loves really crispy skin on the turkey, but I can't get it crispy enough. Do you have any tips for me? Thank you in advance.

Getting Crisp Skin on your Thanksgiving Turkey

Hi Steve. There are a couple of different ways to make sure the skin on your turkey is nice and cripsy. One is a sure-fire bet: fry it. Fried turkey (find some deep fried turkey recipes here) is always juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Don't have all the equipment for making fried turkey? You can also get crispy turkey skin for Thanksgiving by roasting your turkey at a high heat.

My favorite recipe for a juicy inside and crispy-crackly outside is this one:

It comes out perfect every time. It's by far my favorite, most-dependable way to cook a turkey.
