Blood Orange Mimosa Halloween Cocktail Recipe

It seems like blood oranges were created for Halloween drinks. They taste great but look more than a little creepy-- perfect for a Halloween cocktail party! The recipe below is based on one by Emeril, and makes wonderful, simple mimosas that look just a bit, well... gory.

This Halloween drinks recipe serves four. Simply divide the ingredients evenly between four chilled glasses.

Ingredients:
8 oz. Freshly squeezed juice from a blood orange
1 (750 mL) bottle of Champagne
2 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec

Instructions: 1. Fill a Champagne flute partway with blood orange juice.

2. Top with Champagne. Garnish with a blood orange slice and serve immediately.
