Thanksgiving Turkey in an Oven Bag- Adding Water?

Hello, I have seasoned the turkey under the skin and on the skin as well as inside. I am roasting the turkey in a bag. Should I add water to the roasting pan?

Cooking a Turkey in an Oven Bag
by: Karen from DDP

Hi there. Thanks for writing in with your question. Roasting turkey in a bag usually doesn't require any water. I did check at Reynolds, though, and they've got a few pages on how to use oven bags to cook a turkey:

There, they don't say anything about adding water, so it looks like you shouldn't!
